Every Wednesday evening, starting at 5 p.m., both Mint Museum locations offer free admission. Often there are special events during this time. In recent weeks, and continuing, Wine on Wednesdays offers a cash bar, one free wine refill and a discount at the museum shop, at Mint Museum Uptown. On July 9th, the whole family is invited to Mint Museum Uptown for a special event. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., meet Hugo the Hornet and get a look at the new Hornets uniforms. The Mint Museum’s galleries will be open and free to the public from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at both locations.
