Thursday, December 21st, 2017, is Carolina Football Night with the Charlotte Checkers. In the 7 p.m. game against the Hershey Bears, players will wear Cam Newton jerseys, which will be auctioned off after the game. The proceeds will benefit the Cam Newton Foundation, which supports strategic initiatives, programs and events in the Charlotte and Atlanta communities. Tickets also benefit the charitable organization.
The Checkers made a special offer. If Cam Newton scored a touchdown during the first quarter against the Green Bay Packers on December 17th, the Checkers would sell tickets for the December 21st hockey game for just $1.
As you probably know, Cam did it!
