A Very Sordid Wedding is the long-awaited film sequel to the cult classic “Sordid Lives” from creator Del Shores.
The NC Film Premiere will take place on Saturday, July 1st, 2017, at 7:30 p.m., at McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square.

Starring Bonnie Bedelia, Leslie Jordan, Dale Dickey, Caroline Rhea, Emerson Collins, Rosemary Alexander, Newell Alexander, Ann Walker & Whoopi Goldberg, A Very Sordid Wedding deals with the questions, concerns, bigotry and fallout of what happens when marriage equality comes to a small Texas town where not everyone is ready to accept it.
Presented by Rosedale Medical, the screening will be followed by a Q&A with writer/director Del Shores, producer Emerson Collins and cast members Rosemary Alexander, Newell Alexander and Ann Walker.
VIP tickets include a 6PM pre-reception, meet and greet and photo opportunity with all five celebrity guests. A portion of all ticket proceeds will benefit HRC North Carolina and Equality North Carolina.
