Blumenthal Performing Arts is hosting an Adult Spelling Bee on Friday, August 26th, 2022, at 8 p.m. It takes place at Stage Door Theater, 130 N Tryon Street, Charlotte.
It’s free to attend, but registration is required.
This is a high energy, fun night of trying to spell words. It’s for ages 21+ only, and IDs will be checked.
When you arrive, you can sign up with the Word Wizard. The first 10 spellers will compete. They’ll be divided into 2 groups of 5. The top speller from each group will go to the finals to see who will be crowned the Adult Spelling Bee Champ.
Each time you get a word right you take a drink of Tito’s Handmade Vodka. This continues until there’s a winner from each group and a winner of the final round.
