The President James K. Polk State Historic Site, 12031 Lancaster Highway, Pineville, is hosting a free event on May 14th, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Back-country Music, Dance & ‘Que will feature historic music and some back-country tunes and tasty BBQ. This festival will feature local artists playing historic music, as well as local ‘que. Bring the family, your lawn chairs, and blankets to enjoy acts like the Appalachian Dulcimer Club, Red Hills Dance, the Myers Park Consort, and our headliner, the Myers Park High School Bluegrass Club!
