Literary Bookpost, at 110 South Main Street in Salisbury, along with Just the Thing, a toy and game store that shares the space, is hosting a big back-to-school event on Saturday, August 9th, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It’s free to attend and includes refreshments. The first 50 customers will each receive a free reusable shopping bag stuffed with goodies. There will be door prize drawings at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The way you enter for door prizes: for every $10 you spend you get a ticket. They’ve been issuing tickets for a couple of weeks. You do not have to shop on Saturday to get a ticket. You can shop earlier. On Saturday, if you spend $25 you’ll get a chance to spin the wheel to win discounts, gift cards and products. Also, every customer who spends $25 will get a free desk calendar. Then at 12:00 p.m. a drawing will be held for a one minute shopping spree. In the past, customers have scored between $100 and $400 of products during the shopping spree.
