Kings Mountain National Military Park, located on South Carolina Highway 216 (exit #2 from I-85) is marking the 235th anniversary of the Battle of Kings Mountain with a living history weekend on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015, and Sunday, October 4th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. There will be weapons demonstrations, battlefield tours, hands-on kids’ activities, cricket, and more. This is a free event.
Saturday, October 3rd
Camps will be open 9-5 with a variety of demonstrations: trades and crafts, cooking, medicine, weapons, children’s activities, and more. Kid’s area will be open from 11-3, with a different activity every hour.
