The 17th Annual Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival takes place May 18, 2024, at Ballantyne’s Backyard, 11611 N Community House Road, Charlotte, North Carolina.

General admission is from 2 to 6 p.m., and VIP admission is from 12 to 6 p.m.

Five lucky Charlotte on the Cheap readers will win a pair of GA tickets, and one very lucky reader will win a pair of VIP tickets.

Highlights of Festival

Your admission ticket buys you a souvenir glass for all-you-care-to-taste samples of the beer and bourbon.

Same great location as last year, at Ballantyne’s Backyard! It’s a beautiful setting for Charlotte’s Biggest, Baddest, Bone-In BBQ Festival – the Beer Bourbon & BBQ Festival. This 17th Annual affair is back and ready for more – it offers up all those pleasures that true Southerners live by – Beer, Bourbon, Barbeque, Boots, Bacon, Biscuits, Bluegrass and Smoked Beasts

It’s a great day of beer sippin’, bourbon tastin’, music listenin’, cigar smokin’ and barbeque eatin’. Your Admission buys you a souvenir glass so you can enjoy an ALL-YOU-CARE-TO-TASTE sampling of the beer and bourbon

The Shrine of Swine is back with whole hogs and other surprises during each session.

Enjoy seminars in the tasting theater with master, brewmasters and pit masters. Dance or rock out to the bands playing your favorite tunes throughout the day. Enjoy yard games as you sample over 60 beers and over 40 bourbons. Browse and shop the brewerania, hot sauces and BBQ accessories. There will be other delicious food for purchase from the food trucks.

12 to 6 p.m.
$75

Includes a souvenir tasting glass and 2 extra hours of sampling unlimited beer and bourbon tastings, a BBQ Dinner Plate, special VIP only Lounge Area (Lounge closes at 5pm) and all live entertainment.
