Movies in the Park are returning to Stowe Park, 24 S. Main Street, Belmont. On select Saturdays in the spring, summer and fall of 2024, enjoy outdoor movies, classic arcade games and more.
These events are free to attend. They’re presented by City of Belmont Community Development Department and and Aurora Star Lit Cinema.
The movies will be shown on a jumbo outdoor movie screen with immersive sound. There will also be a retro arcade game tent, with free-to-play games, and cornhole.
Food and beverages (including adult beverages) will be available for purchase. And don’t forget about all the great restaurants in Downtown Belmont.

- August 17, 8 p.m.: Jaws
- September 14, 7:30 p.m.: The Sound of Music
- September 21, double feature! 7:15 p.m.: The Land Before Time, 8:30 p.m.: Iron Giant
- October 12, 7 p.m.: Hocus Pocus
- October 26, 7 p.m.: The Addams Family
- November 9, 6 p.m.: E.T.
- November 23, 6 p.m.: Gremlins
- December 14, 6 p.m.: Christmas Story
