Charlotte Area Fund is hosting The Big Pop-Up, a mass food and supply distribution event, on Thursday, July 29th, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Park Expo and Conference Center, 800 Briar Creek Road, Charlotte.
Families in need will be able to get free food and supplies, as well as COVID-19 vaccinations and tests.
This is a drive-thru event. Individuals and families will remain in their vehicles while volunteers place a food box, beverages, and other assorted home goods in their trunks. Home goods may be kitchen items, medical wellness items, beauty items, cosmetics, or miscellaneous bedding.
This event is first-come, first-served. It will start at 10 a.m. and go until supplies run out.

Charlotte Area Fund is in need of volunteers to assist with the event. Individuals or groups are needed prior to the event to screen, sort and package donated items. During the event, volunteers will place items in trunks, serve as runners, help direct cars, distribute and collect data forms, and assist with assorted other tasks.
