Kannapolis African-American Museum and Cultural Center is presenting a Black History Month Celebration on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 3 p.m., at The Laureate Center, 401 Laureate Way, Kannapolis, North Carolina.
Admission is $10 at the door, with grades 1 to 8 being admitted for free.
The event includes:
- Photographic Exhibition of “Women of a New Tribe” by Jerry Taliaferro.
- Talk with the creator/artist
- Reception
- Silent auction
- Photo shoot
- Swag Bag
The photo shoot with a professional photographer is free, with photographs just $5.
