Fountain Park, 300 East Main Street in Rock Hill, will be the site for the 2017 UCI BMX World Championships’ Opening Ceremonies on Saturday, July 22nd, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Learn more about the BMX World Championships, which will be held July 25th to to July 29th, at Novant Health BMX Supercross Track.
At Saturday’s Opening Ceremonies, Rock Hill will welcome the thousands of BMX riders and their families to South Carolina and the United States, and kick off the first U.S. hosted World Championship in 16 years.
Admission to the opening ceremonies and Food Truck Saturday is free.

While you’re there, check out the opening of the art exhibit FOOT Machine at the Courtroom Gallery at the Gettys Center, 201 East Main Street. The art will explore bikes and bike culture. 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Free.
Afterwards, head to Concerts at the Courtroom, at 201 East Main Street, Rock Hill, where, for $5 you can see Joy Kills, Blame it on Bart, and Philip K. Dixie. 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
