Fall is a season to celebrate as cooler weather and autumn colors sweep across the Carolinas. Join the Garden for activities and crafts inspired by the season and upcoming holiday, Halloween.
Children will have the opportunity to participate in a costume parade each day at both noon and 2 p.m., create seasonal crafts, learn about creepy, crawly creatures, have their faces painted, and more. Among the sounds of crunching fallen leaves visitors will hear the sounds of hoof beats from horses leading the carriages. Carriage rides are available for $6 per adult and $4 per child (cash only).
The Beer Garden will feature craft brews and live music from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20 by Chelsea Locklear and Sunday, Oct. 21 by Michael “Jonesy” Jones. The Garden Store and a food truck onsite will serve lunch, snacks, treats and beverages available for purchase.
