If you’re in Noda Saturday night, February 18th, you’ll see something pretty spectacular.
The 8th Annual Brazilian Carnaval experience, A Night In Rio, will take place at Neighborhood Theatre, 511 East 36th Street, on Saturday, February 18th, 2017. Tickets are $20 at the door.
They have sold out the last few years, so if you’re planning to go, don’t show up late.
But starting at 7:30 p.m. there will be a Carnaval Parade. It will start at the Johnston YMCA, 3025 North Davidson Street, and proceed to Neighborhood Theatre. The street will be closed to traffic during the parade.
And of course no ticket is required to enjoy the parade.
At Neighborhood Theatre doors will open at 7 p.m. and there will be free Samba dance lessons for ticket-holders at that time. The event also features more dancing, live music, authentic food, drinks and a marketplace.
