Have you been bragging about your big win in the archery tournament at summer camp when you were 12? (Oh, wait, that was me. Do you want to see the ribbon?)
Relive your glory days, or see if you’ve still got it, at the FREE public archery tournament at Cane Creek Park, 5213 Harkey Road, Waxhaw.
This tournament was announced on Cane Creek Park’s Facebook page.
This tournament is open to competitors age 8 and up, with these divisions:
- 8 to 12 years old
- 13 to 18 years old
- 19 to 64 years old (women)
- 19 to 64 years old (men)
- 65 and older (women)
- 65 and older (men)
It takes place on Saturday, July 17th, 2021, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Each competitor will shoot 5 arrows, and the score will be based on the cumulative score of the 5 shots. Awards will be given to the “top shot” of each age division.
All equipment will be provided. You’ll be using a compound bow.
