Displaced Western North Carolina Residents Visit for Free
Carolina Raptor Center has announced that through the end of 2024, anyone displaced by Hurricane Helene can visit for free. When you arrive, just let the staff at the Visitor’s Center know so that they can properly welcome you.
Their hope is that walking the trail and interacting with the birds can be a welcome escape.
Please read the announcement, as well as some information about the damage to two of the Center’s enclosures, here.
