This summer, Carolina Theatre at Belk Place will celebrate its history at “Movies Under the Stars” – a four-part outdoor film series, presented in conjunction with Charlotte City Center Partners and Foundation For The Carolinas.
The series – which will be shown in the Carolina Theatre Pocket Park on the corner of North Tryon and Sixth Street – runs on Thursday nights, July 21-Aug. 11. Each movie will feature entertainment and vendors selling “movie snacks,” starting at 7:30 p.m. The movies begin at 8:30 p.m. All films are free and open to the public, and moviegoers are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to sit on.
