Carowinds is now offering a free Pre-K pass for kids age 3-5. You just need to register online, and your child can visit Carowinds for free though the whole 2024 season.
Kids with a Pre-K pass can enjoy unlimited visits to Carowinds and Carolina Harbor Waterpark.
Your child just has to be 3, 4, or 5 years old when you sign him or her up. If your child turns 6 before the end of the 2024 season, the pass is still good.
The pass is NOT good for SCarowinds.
You need to first purchase a Gold or Prestige Pass first for yourself, and then register your child online. Then bring the e-ticket, with proof of your child’s age (birthday certificate or passport–copies are acceptable) to the Carowinds main gate, to activate the pass.
There is a limit of 2 Pre-K passes per valid Gold or Prestige Pass.
You have until August 1st, 2024, to register online for the pass, and you also have until August 1st, 2024, to activate the pass at the park.
If you purchase the All Park Passport add-on with either your Gold or Prestige pass, the pre-k pass associated with your account can be used for entry to select Cedar Fair Parks. Pre-K passes are only valid for entry to California’s Great America, Carowinds, Cedar Point, Dorney Park, Kings Dominion, Valleyfair and Worlds of Fun.
Kids age 2 and under are always free at Carowinds.
