CATS offering fare-free rides Feb. 4, honoring Rosa Parks

On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is offering fare-free rides in honor of Transit Equity Day.

Transit Equity Day promotes equity and accessibility in transit and is held on Rosa Parks’ birthday.

All light rail and bus rides are free to ride on February 4.

Also, one seat will be reserved on every bus and rail vehicle to honor Rosa Parks and her contribution to civil rights. Look for the image above!
