A Celebration of Chinese Folk Art will take place at Dana Hall/Sykes Learning Center, 1900 Selwyn Avenue at Queens University of Charlotte, on Friday, September 15th, 2017, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Join Tower Bridge International and New Oasis International Education for an evening of food, fun, and Chinese Folk Art. This celebration will highlight the “A Year of China” exhibit that is on display in Queens University’s Dana Hall (also accessible from Sykes Learning Center) and will feature ongoing demonstrations from Chinese folk artists who are visiting the US on residency. The event is free and open to the public.
Join us anytime between 4pm and 7pm to learn about the annual festivals that are apart of Chinese tradition and meet Chinese New Year Woodblock Print Artist, Han Lu and Shadow Puppetry Artist, Cindy Cui. We are celebrating the arrival of both of these artists and they are excited to share their craft with event guests.
