Features: Fish in any public body of water without a license. Other regulations, such as size limitations and lure restrictions, still apply. If you don’t have fishing equipment, many facilities operate a tackle loan program. Please note that this event hasn’t been announced yet for 2025, but it’s been held every year for a long time.

Time: Parade is typically held at 9 a.m. on July 4. The festival is both days. These are estimated times for the festival, as we await an official announcement. Thurssday: 4 to 10 p.m., and Friday: 4 to 11 p.m.
Place: The festival is at Harrisburg Park, 191 Sims Parkway, Harrisburg, NC. The parade starts at Captain Steve’s Restaurant on Hwy 49.
Cost: Free, but you’ll need tickets or a wristband for rides.
Features: A parade and a two-day festival, including live music, rides and fireworks.
