Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, at 5535 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, pursues justice for those in need by providing pro bono legal representation to low-income residents. It also provides those in need with information, advice and advocacy in consumer protection, home preservation, health care access and public benefits, immigration, tax assistance and more.
With soaring property values across the state, many North Carolinians are struggling to keep up with their housing costs, including property taxes. But there is help. Property tax relief is available for low-income seniors, disabled individuals and disabled veterans.
On April 16, 2025, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy will host a free property tax relief clinic from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to assist eligible individuals with preparing their North Carolina property tax relief applications. Those interested should call 980-256-7952 to reserve a spot.
