The Charlotte Earth Day Celebration takes place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., at The Charlotte Museum of History, 3500 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a free event.
CleanAIRE NC and the Charlotte Museum of History are hosting the event, in partnership with SOL Nation and several other Charlotte-area organizations. The event will feature around 50 exhibitors representing Charlotte-based organizations and businesses.
There will be four knowledge stations where you and your family can complete activities hosted by local nonprofit organizations and businesses. After each activity you’ll receive a stamp for your Earth Passport.
Enjoy a history and nature learning tour, cooking workshop, photography and story telling, and environment education.
In addition, that evening at the museum, from 6 to 8 p.m., there will be a free screening of two documentaries that highlight the impact that we have on our land and ecosystems. There will be a Q&A session after the films, light snacks and a cash bar. The screening event is also free.
