Charlotte Kids Fest at Shoppes at University Place on Oct. 4

This year, Charlotte Kids Fest will be at a new location — Shoppes at University Place, 8931 J M Keynes Drive, Charlotte, NC, 28262.

It will take place on October 4, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s free to attend.

There will be several zones at the festival where families can enjoy performances and hands-on activities.

• Create Zone will focus on interactive activities such as; crafts creation area and workshops.
• Dance Zone will be the place to boogie down all day.
• Discover Zone will host interactive performing arts experiences from dance to live music performances.
• NC Science Fest Zone will offer interactive science activities along with other fun educational experiences.
• Play Zone will focus on outdoor and healthy activities from sports, games and contest.
• Go Zone is set to feature BIG construction and emergency vehicles.
