Charlotte Regional Farmers Market, 1801 Yorkmont Road, operates year-round on Wednesday to Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It’s a large market, with three retail buildings of 15,000 square feet each, and a fourth, the “greenery shed,” with 21,000 square feet of space.

Summer Fest

Summer Fest is at the Market on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The summer celebration features:

Free watermelon slices
Free peach samples
Free tomato sandwiches
Free corn recipe cards
Blueberry coloring pages for kids
Potato stamping for the kids
Selfie booth
Cooking demos from an experienced pitmaster using local meat and produce
