Charlotte Storytellers is a local group of grownups who never grew out of story time. An irreverent group of first-time, amateur and experienced local storytellers meet weekly to hear and tell stories, engage in storytelling games and share creative critique.
During these sessions they also workshop stories, which they then present to the public at storytelling showcases.
The storytelling showcases are fun, low cost, relaxed, thought provoking events, with stories that revolve around a theme.
The theme of the upcoming showcases is “Expectations.”
8 Charlotteans will tell stories about responding to expectations. Sometimes we fall short, but maybe we leap over the bar. Other times, we turn the situation on its ear entirely.
The content won’t be suitable for children.
