Join us August 5th and 6th at Goodyear Arts (516 N. College) for the Charlotte Storytellers summer showcase! Eight local Charlotteans will tell 100% true stories the theme of “conforming” — how we contort ourselves to fit social norms, and why break out or decide to remain within them.
Doors open at 7:30 pm, and the show starts at 8:00. This event is BYOP (bring your own pillow) and BYOB. Masa Casa will be slinging tamales before and after the show.
While we encourage childlike wonder, this event is not appropriate for kids.
Tickets are $10 at the door. Week of the show presale tickets: $7. Early bird tix: $5.
Our venue, Goodyear Arts, is located at 516 N. College Street in Uptown Charlotte. Goodyear Arts hosts innovative artist residencies and events in underused buildings.
Charlotte Storytellers meets every week at Charlotte Lit to tell stories on a theme. We take the best ones and polish them for a quarterly showcase.
