The Charlotte Unconventional Film School is presenting a Story Teller Open Mic on the last Saturday of every odd numbered month in 2025, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Common Market Oakwold, 4420-A, Monroe Road, Charlotte.
It’s free to attend, but please buy a little something from Common Market.

A few people are slated to tell stories. In addition to those 2-3 people, you’re invited to put your name in the hat if you would like to.
They’ll draw names from a hat for the other storytellers that night so please prepare a 5 minute real life story. This would be a true story about something that happened to you. Can be silly, fun, simple, beautiful, recent, or from a long time ago — just a true story with a beginning, middle and end.
