Chickspeare, an all-female Shakespeare company, will be performing Comedy of Errors at the Warehouse Performing Arts Center, 9216 A Westmoreland Road in Cornelius, from June 8th to 11th. Tickets are $20 in advance and $24 at the door.
On Thursday, June 8th, the performance is “pay what you can.” The suggested donation is $10, but pay as much or as little as you want.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. It would be wise to get there early, as seating is first-come, first-served.
Ass Clown Brewing will be at the event selling beer.
Celebrate the start of Summer’s lazy-hazy-crazy days with The Chicks as they present ‘Comedy of Errors’, one of the Bard’s most farcical comedies. Shakespeare meets 70’s and 80’s television as 7 actors bring to life 15 characters in the original sitcom Comedy of Errors. Not one, but TWO sets of identical twins, separated at birth, encounter a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities that lead to wrongful beatings, a near-seduction, an arrest, and false accusations of infidelity, theft, madness and in this case lots of TV theme songs!
