UNCC Botanical Gardens is holding a free Children’s Botanical Program on Sunday, May 18th, 2014, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the McMillan Greenhouse. It’s for kids age 4-8. Program is limited to 10, so please email Kathy to register, kzimmer1@uncc.edu. More information: Explore Flowers and Pollinators! Examine flowers and find where the pollen is up-close with magnifiers and learn more about the pollination process. Children will then create their own flowers from making paper shapes and by coloring an array of shades of what we find in Pansies, Digitalis and Evening-primroses.
