The Latin American Coalition and Coca-Cola present the 7th Annual Fanta Festival, the largest Cinco de Mayo Festival in the Charlotte area on Sunday, May 4th, 2014, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Route 29 Pavilion. 5650 Sandusky Blvd in Concord (across from the Speedway.) The Latin American Coalition’s Fanta Festival is a one-day, highly publicized Cinco de Mayo celebration which attracts more than 30,000 children and adults from Charlotte’s Hispanic community. This FREE event features internationally known musical acts, celebrity appearances, folkloric dance performances, as well as children’s games and activities. An open-air food court offers authentic Latin American cuisine and the Latin American Mercado sells hand-made, imported goods and specialty products. A true community event, the Fanta Festival has secured its place as the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in North Carolina.
