Clayworks: First Friday Open House Nov. 1

Clayworks, at 4506 Monroe Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, opens up to the public the First Friday of every month from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Next up is November 1, 2024.

The event is free to attend.

Shop the Clayworks Gallery, receive an artist-led tour of the facility, and observe studio artists and live demonstrations.

5:30 to 8:30 p.m.: Gallery shopping
5:30 to 8:30 p.m.: Studio tours
7 p.m.: Raku demonstration
6 to 8 p.m.: Wheel, raku and handbuilding workshops (registration and fee required)

The gallery features functional and sculptural ceramics at every price point from more than 20 Clayworks studio and teaching artists.
