CLT 250 Anniversary Party at Levine Museum of the New South

Charlotte is celebrating its 250th anniversary and will be celebrating through May, 2019. We will keep updating Charlotte on the Cheap with CLT250 events. You can see some of them here.

Levine Museum of the New South, at 200 E. 7th Street, is celebrating with a CLT 250 Anniversary Party on Sunday, September 30th, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission will be free that day, and there will also be snacks, performances, and activities for children.

Activities and performances include:

• Build a car by NASCAR
• Make your own birthday card
• “Conversations with the Queen”
• The Briarhoppers
• ShutterBooth photo booth
• A jazz trio
• Costume and reenactments provided by the Charlotte Museum of History
• Raffles and vendors
