CLT NYE presented by Ally, Charlotte’s Uptown New Year’s Eve celebration, is back! Say goodbye to 2023 and hello to 2024 at this party at Tryon Street and Levine Avenue of the Arts.
This is a free event and if you’re looking for New Year fireworks near you, this is the place to be! It’s the only New Year’s Eve fireworks show in Uptown Charlotte.

CLT NYE starts at 8 p.m. on December 31, 2023, with a DJ and food trucks.
At 10 p.m. the Charlotte band Mo’ Money will take the stage. Just before midnight, there will be a countdown. At midnight, the Charlotte crown will be lit and fireworks will be launched.
You’re encouraged to use public transit to make the the evening easy and affordable. The best Blue Line stops would be:
- CTC Station
- 3rd Street Station
- Brooklyn Village Station
As part of this event, Levine Avenue of the Arts will close between South Tryon and South Church streets at 9 am on December 31. South Tryon Street will close between Brooklyn Village Avenue and MLK Boulevard beginning at 5 pm on December 31. Both streets will reopen during the overnight hours.
