ABOUT THE LEAGUE AND THE #CLThaiku INTERVENTION
As Creative Interventionists we aim to bring thought-provoking interventions to the day to day lives of the people in Charlotte in accessible, simple and creative ways. The goal is to create a positive impact through something that is out of the ordinary. Our current intervention is temporary public/street art project.
At the launch party we collected haiku poems from the attendees about what Charlotte means to them. We will transfer them onto large vinyls/canvas’ and would like to install them all over the city on construction fences, outside businesses or in parks (with proper permission).
The vision is to not only spruce up the scenery with delightful messages about why we love Charlotte, but to vary the installation so that they pop up randomly throughout the next month all over the city.
