KeenDog has put together a great list of local venues and events for you to explore with your dog. During the month of May, visit as many of these as you can, and tag Keendog and #CLTScavengerhunt. Then go to their event at KeenDog HQ on May 31, and you can win prizes. Sorry, this is going up a little bit late, so the first few days are over.

It is our favorite time of year in the Charlotte area. The weather typically wavers in the 70s with a light breeze and sunshine on the regular. We have emerged from our Winter cocoons ready to bask in the beauty that surrounds us throughout the Queen City. Join KeenDog this May for an adventure with your pooch that you have never experienced before. We challenge all the dog owners in the Greater Charlotte area to participate in our first ever month long Charlotte photo scavenger hunt.
We have complied a list of many of our favorite Charlotte parks, local businesses and services; and assigned one per day for you and your dog to go out to. Each day there is a specific location and task to do (a specific request fit for the location you will be going to), we ask you to follow KeenDog on Instagram and/or Facebook, and tag us and #CLTscavengerhunt on Instagram and/or FaceBook of you completing that day’s scavenger photo. If the day is at a local business, we ask you to tag that business as well in your photo. We have some pretty rad businesses involved too, offering unique discounts to customers who come in and say they are with the Charlotte Scavenger Hunt.
The purpose of the #CLTscavengerhunt is to get people out and about in our community with their dogs, promote some local badass businesses we enjoy and have fun while doing so!

The light rail continues to grow every day and one of our favorite parts about it, is the carpet artwork along the route. Work on your leash walking manners, then stop on the carpet for a picture of your dog looking city ‘chic.

From 12-5 PM on the first Sunday of every month April – November, dozens of cool local vendors and food trucks come together to create a pop-up festival. This local, super dog-friendly market and block party features 60 vendors, multiple food trucks, live music, beer, fitness, pet adoptions, and a great community vibe. Whether you breeze through on two feet or two wheels, you’re invited to kick back, stay awhile, and shop small. KeenDog trainers will be hanging out at Pet Wants booth so stop by and say hi. The US National White Water Center is definitely one of our favorite spots in Charlotte to bring our dogs and their Thursday River Jam series is up and running for 2018! Jam at the U.S. National Whitewater Center brings together live musical performances throughout the year to a one-of-a-kind outdoor venue, right in the middle of the world’s largest man-made whitewater river. So head out with your pup after work to enjoy a night of music; Arkansauce will be performing. Snap a picture of you and your dog listening to some tunes.
