The Comet Grill, at 2224 Park Road, is hosting the 2nd Annual Comet Sunshine Arts Festival on Sunday, August 16th, 2015, from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free. Live music will be provided by Truckstop Preachers, Lenny Federal Band, Stolen Hearts, and Omari & The Hellbounds. Over 30 local artists will be displaying their wares from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Homer the Dragon will be at the festival from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for photo ops. Other performers include artists doing live painting, Aerial CLT, Firestorm fire dancing and sword swallowing, a dunk tank and DJs. Admission is free.
