Comic Girl Coffee and Books, 516 East 15th Street, is celebrating its grand opening with a party on Saturday, November 11th, all day.
It’s a free event.
Comic Girl Coffee strives to be an inclusive place for marginalized communities. They feature books with positive minority characters. They serve coffee made from locally roasted beans, and vegan food.
The celebration schedule:
8 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Coffee Binge and Sunrise celebration
12 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Magic the Gathering and Gayest Bingo
6 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Music and drag/cosplay
9 p.m. and beyond: Mimosa Magic, more (maybe a séance)
