The U.S. National Whitewater Center’s newest festival, Confluence, is all about music. It’s part festival and part conference.
At Confluence, musicians will perform and learn, and music lovers will discover new music.
There will be vendors, including those who repair instruments, music instructors, those who run recording studios, and others in the music business.
Panel discussions will shed light on what goes on behind the scenes in the music business, such as branding, songwriting, recording, booking, and more.
In all there will be 16 live music performances on 3 stages during the weekend.
It’s presented in association with MaxxMusic and Midwood Entertainment.
Confluence takes place Saturday, August 3rd, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Sunday, August 4th, 2019, from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Like all festivals at the U.S. Whitewater Center, it’s free to attend. Parking is $6.
Here’s the schedule. Go to the Confluence webpage for information on who is on each panel, and the location of the panels.
