Winners announced for Bank of America 500 tickets

Kangaroo Express is partnering with Charlotte Motor Speedway to offer extra entertainment to NASCAR fans, both during the Bank of America 500, and beforehand at Kangaroo Express convenient stores. At the bottom of this post, read about their fan events, and the opportunities fans will have to meet drivers. Kangaroo Express is also offering a valuable Bank of America prize package to four Charlotte on the Cheap readers. Each winner will win four tickets to each of these races:

Thu, Oct 9 – Bojangles’ Pole Night
Fri, Oct 10 – 300 Miles of Courage
Sat, Oct 11 – Bank of America 500

To enter the contest:

• Be an email subscriber to Charlotte on the Cheap. You’ll receive one email a day, with links to all the posts from the previous 24 hours hours. You can sign up online now. It’s free.
• Email cheapskate@charlotteonthecheap.com. Put “Kangaroo” as the subject. In the email you must include your full name and mailing address. I need that so that the tickets can be mailed to you as soon as you win. I won’t send anything else to your address, share your address or knock on your door. In fact, as soon as the envelopes have been mailed to the winners, I’m deleting the emails!
• On Friday, October 3rd, the winners will be randomly selected from eligible entries, the winners will be notified and will be announced in this post, and the tickets will be mailed. Remember: you must be an email subscriber to Charlotte on the Cheap in order to win. Every contest there’s someone who would have won but never even knows because he or she was not an email subscriber. Don’t be that person. Good luck!

Bank of America 500 race weekend attendees will have several opportunities to meet legendary drivers at the infield Kangaroo Express, including an autograph signing with driver of the Yuengling Light Lager Chevrolet Ty Dillon on Friday, Oct. 10 and No. 9 Twisted Tea Ford Fusion driver Marcos Ambrose on Saturday, Oct. 11. Follow Kangaroo Express on Twitter or Facebook to find out when to head down to the infield store for these and other events, including free sample giveaways with Oberto Beef Jerky and Twisted Tea.

Race attendees can also get in on the excitement with fan events scheduled at local Kangaroo Express stores. Marcos Ambrose will meet fans at the 8501 Concord Mills Blvd. Kangaroo Express in Concord on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. – 12 noon and the 546 Ashdale Court Kangaroo Express in Concord on Friday, Oct. 10. from 12 noon – 1 p.m.

Kangaroo Express will also treat its loyal guests with special access to reserved parking on a first come, first serve basis. Loyal guests that show the parking attendant the parking coupon within the free Kangaroo Express mobile app downloaded on their phone can receive complimentary parking in Lot U, the season ticket holder parking lot.
