CPCC’s Dental Clinic offers low-cost dental services

Central Piedmont Community College’s dental clinic is part of the training program for dental hygiene students. Faculty supervise students as they provide services at the clinic.

This helps them get the experience they need and also offers low-cost dental service to the public.

The dental clinic is at the Belk/Health Careers Building, on the Central Campus, at 1335 Elizabeth Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dental services cost $35 total and include:

Dental x-rays
Plaque and tartar removal
Non-surgical periodontal therapy
Coronal polishing
Fluoride treatment
Sealants

Please understand that the session will take a little longer than at a dentist office, because the students are learning.

Here’s the process:

The clinic dentist will do a comprehensive medical/dental history. There’s no fee for the screening. Please call ahead to confirm hours before arriving.
You’ll be assigned to a student based on what students need for their program requirements
Your appointment will be scheduled. Appointments typically last up to three hours. Your treatment may take more than one visit. You’ll need to pay the $35 fee when you arrive for your appointment.
