Creative Mornings is an international organization that is devoted to connecting the creative communities in cities around the world. Each month attendees gather to enjoy coffee, friendly people, some free breakfast food, and to enjoy inspiring talks by other creative people.
Each week there’s a global theme, but each city’s chapter interprets it in a different way. And, although Creative Mornings is about creativity, this doesn’t mean it’s just about artists. Creativity in all arenas — businesses, non-profits, engineering — is explored and celebrated.
Creative Mornings is in 223 cities in 67 countries. But the best Creative Morning community is right here in Charlotte. I might be biased.
The next Creative Mornings Charlotte takes place Friday, September 8, 2023, at 8:15 a.m., at The Amp Ballantyne, 11115 Upper Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s free to attend, but you need to register and space is limited.
Featured guests:
- Colin Mochrie, a prolific Canadian and Scottish-born improviser, gained fame as a regular on the British TV show “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?”
- World-renowned hypnotist Asad Mecci
The event will also feature a live performance by American Idol Top 7 Finalist Jurnee. In addition, guests can enjoy coffee, breakfast bites, music and mingling.
