Crown Town Compost turns residential and commercial food waste into compost. Customers then can pick up soil twice a year. Basically, it’s a way of composting your food scraps without having to do it yourself.
Crown Town Compost is holding its annual Spring Soil Party on Sunday, March 13th, 2022, from 12 to 4 p.m., at the Innovation Barn, 932 Seigle Avenue, Charlotte.
If you’re a current customer, you can pick up your soil and get ready for planting. If you’re not a customer, you can purchase compost.
In addition, there will be music and games at the event. There will also be FREE BBQ sandwiches, while they last.
