The town of Dallas’ annual Christmas Parade takes place on Friday, December 11th, 2015, at 4 p.m. in downtown Dallas. After the parade, stop in at Gaston County Museum, 131 West Main Street, for their annual Holiday Open House. See the Museum decorated for Christmas, visit the Museum Shop for holiday gifts, take part in cookie decorating and historic crafts, hear live music, and get a chance to meet some very interesting traditional characters from early Christmas celebrations including Saint Nicholas, Christkindl, and Krampus. The open house is a free event.
