Please note this correction: this concert took place November 18th. The David Bashor Memorial Organ Concert Series is a new concert series for the 2016-2017 season. It takes place at Providence United Methodist Church.
The second concert in the series takes place Friday, November 18th, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. It’s free to attend.
The November organ concert program is “Safety Last,” a silent film accompanied by organ improvisation. The featured organist is Dr. John Schwandt, Associate Professor of Organ and Director of the American Organ Institute, University of Oklahoma School of Music. This is a free event and all are welcome.
