Through the end of October, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Control and Care is offering discounted adoption fees for “pumpkin spice” cats. Any fall-colored kitten can be adopted for just $5, and any fall-colored adult cat can be adopted for $15, which includes the $10 required pet license. Normally the adoption fees are $30 plus the cost of the pet license, so this is a great deal.
