Discovery Place Science offers discounted admission to EBT or WIC card holders. Those who present an EBT (electronic benefit transfer) card or WIC (Women, infants and children) card at admission will pay $3 per person, up to six people in a family.
Welcome participants may also purchase discounted parking for $8 a vehicle. In addition, a family membership is offered at a discounted rate of $75 (regularly $229.)
The $3 admission price is also valid at Discovery Place Kids in Huntersville.
This move is part of a nationwide trend toward removing the educational barriers that low-income families experience. Make sure to spread the word so that families learn about it.
