The Easter Bunny is visiting the N.C. Transportation Museum, 1 Samuel Spencer Drive, Spencer, for four days! Tickets are on sale now. Scroll down for the dates, times, and ticket prices.
Find lots of Easter egg hunts and Easter bunny pictures in the Charlotte area.
Throughout the four-day eggstravaganza, general admission tickets get you access to the museum grounds and exhibit buildings and include a visit with the Easter Bunny. You can take your own photos.
For an additional cost, you can have the professional onsite photographer take your family’s photos.
Enjoy model trains and a springtime scavenger hunt as you explore the museum exhibits featuring trains, airplanes, automobiles, trucks, and more.
Upgrade your visit with a train ride experience aboard the specially decorated Easter themed train!
Get your train ride tickets to enjoy a leisurely 25-minute ride. Your ticket also includes admission to the museum grounds and exhibit buildings.
New this year, for an extra cost you can go on a train ride with the Easter Bunny, and it includes breakfast, lunch or a snack. See the museum’s website for details on the cost, which varies by age and meal.
General Admission Activities include:
- Bunny Trail-stop with a take-home treat at the last stop
- Coloring sheet and crafts
- Balloon Twister
- Inflatable Games
- Model Trains
- Photos with the Easter Bunny
- Professional photographer for a family photo (additional charge)
In addition, on March 29 and 30, 2024, there will be an Easter Egg hunt included in event admission. Don’t forget to bring your basket.
- 10:30 a.m.: Ages 0-2 and 3-4
- 11:30 a.m.: Ages 5-7 and 8-10
- 1:30 p.m.: Ages 0-2 and 3-4
- 2:30 p.m.: Ages 5-7 and 8-10
If it rains, the egg hunt won’t take place, but treat bags will be given out to children from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

- Sunday, March 24, 2024: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
