Pageland Watermelon Festival - Charlotte On The Cheap

Celebrate summer at the Pageland Watermelon Festival July 18, 19 and 20, 2024, in Pageland, South Carolina, just an hour’s drive from Charlotte.

Thursday, July 18: opens at 6 p.m. (family rides)
Friday, July 19: 3 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Saturday, July 20: 12 to 12 a.m.

The Pageland Watermelon Festival, presented by White Plains Golf Club, takes place in Downtown Pageland.

The festival is free, but tickets are required for rides. Presale wristbands are $20 per adult or child. Also, some events, such as the rodeo, are ticketed. The live music is free to enjoy.

8 a.m.: Melon Mile 8 a.m. at Pageland Elementary School
10 a.m.: Parade at McGregor Street
12 p .m.: Food trucks and vendors open
12 p.m.: Festival opens
12 p.m.: Car Show at McGregor Street
1 p.m.: Seed Spitting and Best Watermelon Outfit at Moore Park Gazebo
2 p.m.: Live music by J Creek Cloggers at Moore Park Gazebo
4 p.m.: Live music by Deeper Shade of Blue at Moore Park Gazebo
6 p.m.: Live music by Preston Duffee at Moore Park Gazebo
8 p.m.: Rodeo at American Legion
9 p.m.: Live music by The Groove Machine at Moore Park Gazebo
