Fanta Festival returns to McAlipine Creek Park, 8711 Monroe Road, on Sunday, April 30th 2017, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free and it’s for the whole family.
This family oriented, free CINCO DE MAYO festival is hosted by La Raza 106.1 FM in partnership with Coca-Cola to benefit the Latin American Coalition. The fest marks the victory of Mexican forces over the French in the Battle of Puebla more than 160 years ago. The event features internationally known Mexican regional bands.
There is entertainment throughout the day, authentic Mexican food, as well as family activities including a children’s “Fun Zone.”
